At the beginning of the pandemic, Sam Fribush met Charlie Hunter in Greensboro, NC. When Hunter approached Fribush about making a record with Geoff Clapp, it was a foregone conclusion. They recorded all 15+ tracks live at Stephen Price’s studio in High Point. It was mastered by Dave McNair in Winston-Salem.
Volume 2 is entitled The Root, and features covers of D'Angelo, Curtis Mayfield, Billy Preston, and more!
