Albanian pianist Eni Dibra Hoffmann presents Romantisme sonore d'Albanie (The Romantic Sound of Albania)! Eni Dibra Hoffmann was born in Tirana in 1979 in a family of artists. She started playing piano very young, pursued music studies in her city of birth and obtained her Piano Diploma. She then continued her studies at the Conservatoire de musique in Neuchatel with Sylviane Deferne where she won the Prix de Virtuosite with honors. She is currently pursuing master classes with Paul Badura Skoda, Naum Starkman and Louis de Moura Castro. She also works with Jan Dobrzelewski, head of the orchestra, playing Mozarts KV414 and KV466 concertos. With a passion for chamber music, she is also pursuing studies with MP and has obtained a certificate of perfection for accompaniment. In July 2006 Eni Dibra Hoffmann won the prize for the best accompaniment at the 12th Concorso Internazionale di canto solistico in Gorizia, Italy. She currently lives in Biel, Switzerland and splits her time between chamber music concerts, accompaniment and teaching at the Seeland Music School. EDH is member of the SSPM (Swiss Society of Music Pedagogy) since 2007 and is responsible for teaching in the Biel-Jura section since 2008.
