Another Ticket marked a rebirth for Eric Clapton. A new group of backing musicians allowed Clapton and producer Tom Dowd to experiment with new arrangements, comparable to The Band and Bob Dylan at times. The album's single I Can't Stand It was a Billboard top 10 hit and the entire album peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200.
