After three highly successful studio recordings, 1985 saw the Keith Jarrett Trio become a full-fledged working unit, exploring the standard repertoire in a fresh and personal manner. Their summer tour in Europe was enthusiastically received by both large audience and critics alike.
Recorded in July 1985, Standards Live documents the trio's Paris concert at the Palais de Congrès. It includes readings and interpretations of such noted standards as "Stella By Starlight“, Alec Wilder's "The Wrong Blues“ and the Rodgers and Hart classic "Falling In Love With Love“, among others.
